Who we are

This website and the Sumweave app are run by Bot Hero, LLC, a Massachusetts limited liability company doing business as BotHeroGames. We are responsible for the data handling described on this page. Privacy questions go to our support email below. This policy covers the website and the upcoming app; future capabilities are identified separately from current behavior.

How this website works today

This website has no visitor accounts, no forms, and no website analytics. It does not set analytics cookies or collect gameplay statistics. Following an email link opens your email application; no message is submitted through this website.

Hosting and security

Google Cloud hosts this website and its backend. Cloudflare provides network-edge delivery and security. Loading the website involves these providers processing technical request information, such as your IP address and the page requested, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. This infrastructure processing is separate from website analytics.

App data today

The current app keeps progress and settings on your device. With gameplay-statistics sharing enabled, gameplay events and random install and session identifiers also remain on your device; transmission to us is not configured in the current build.

Gameplay-statistics sharing is on by default. Turning it off in Settings stops collection and clears the locally queued events and random install identifier. Turning it back on creates a new identifier. This setting is separate from advertising consent.

Gameplay statistics in the future

In the future, we plan to transmit gameplay statistics when sharing is enabled so we can understand how the game is used and improve it. These statistics may include puzzle starts and completions, guidance use, and advertising events, alongside random install and session identifiers. They are not intended to include your name, email address, or payment details.

We will update this policy with the receiving services, retention periods, and available data controls before enabling transmission. The current local-only behavior described above remains in place until then.

Advertising in the future

In the future, we plan to show ads through Google AdMob outside active play, including banners on Home, Daily, Awards, and Settings, and interstitial ads after a completion panel is dismissed. These are planned capabilities, not a statement that advertising is active in the current release.

AdMob may process IP addresses, device and app information, and advertising identifiers where permitted to deliver and measure ads. Personalized advertising will depend on consent and applicable platform permissions. Advertising choices will be offered through the consent flow and privacy options in Settings, separately from gameplay-statistics sharing.

We will update this policy before activating advertising to describe the data processing and controls that ship. No purchases, subscriptions, or paid hints are offered.

If you email us

If you email our support or press address, we and our email provider receive your email address and whatever you write. We use that information to reply and handle your request, and keep the correspondence only as long as needed for that purpose.

Under 13

Sumweave and this website are not directed to anyone younger than 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone that age. If you believe someone younger than 13 has sent us personal data, email us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can turn off gameplay-statistics sharing in the app’s Settings. Future advertising consent will have its own controls. For questions or requests about data you have shared with us, including email correspondence, contact support. We do not require a Sumweave account to receive a privacy request.

Changes to this page

We update this page when our vendors or data flows change, including before the future processing described here is enabled. The effective date at the top identifies the current version.
